Now, after reading your post I'm growing more and more confident that a batch of Kittys were manufactured with defective USB cords, which in my case broke right away, but in your case took a little longer. However, they also responded that my last headset likely had a wiring issue, a reason that was never suggested during the week I spent with customer service.

I noticed there was a recent driver update for Synapse (I do still have a Razer headset stand) and I reached out to Razer to see what kind of patches were implemented. I eventually returned the headset and gave up on Razer altogether. Spent literally every day for a week trying to solve the problem with Razer Customer Support, but to no avail. The issue gets worse and worse the longer you try to use audio. Removed the Bluetooth driver from the device manager > Realtek Bluetooth Driver > properties > drivers > Remove device.
